This evening, only a great steak would do the trick.
Charred on the outside, rare on the inside.
No sides, the steak alone was big enough.
(At least until midnight, when my stomach will surely beckon for a snack) 🙂

Wunderbar !, A man after my own heart. My only addition would be a fine glass of cab, or an ice cold crisp ale in a pilsner glass………maybe tonite. Thanks for taking the time to share on your blog. I bet you have no idea how many fires you ignite in regards to the daily “menu” ! Thank-you for investing a portion of your day to share. You do reach people. Many folks do not understand the effort, I am truly appreciative. Cheers !

Love the addition of horseradish, usually fry my onions in butter ’cause peanut oil isn’t something I have in-stock unless I’m frying a turkey. I’m like Nelson, would want a nice glass of red to go along with

Thank you Nelson. It is truly an effort, but also the only joy I have left besides my dog Bella.
(You can find her in the “Funny Stuff” column at the top of the page 🙂 Cheers

Hans, I’m hungry again and I just ate. I think I would even eat the steak, even though I don’t usually eat beef, due to my past arguments with beef cattle who kept insisting on getting out when I was home alone and had to chase them in. That one would change my mind, and the onions definitely caught my attention.
