If  mc donald would serve this thing, I would be there twice a week.What a difference to the usual boring, crappy patty in a bun. This one was spicy, crunchy, tasty, exciting. It combines some of my favorite ingredients, all in one bite :
Noodle pillow, brie cheese, hoisin sauce, spicy italian sausage, vine ripened tomatoes, sriracha sauce and sauteed cabbage and onions seasoned with soy, garlic and ginger.
Now, if this sounds like a hodgepodge to you, you are absolutely right, but it is a hodgpodge where everything comes together just fine and forms a harmonious entity which is just wonderful in its complexity of texture and taste 🙂

  2. Hans – You out did yourself on this one, it brings back memories of the pillar
    burgers that were around years ago in the Pacific Rim. Those chef’s like you,
    built their creative dishes in Hawaii, almost as high as their mountains. A
    Challenge to eat, but WOW, what taste, flavor, a lasting eating memory for sure!

  3. Wow Hans, that looks so good I want to take a bite! It’s so coincidental because I just wrote an article about the new “it” food being the ramen burger which uses ramen noodle buns that look just like your noodle pillows. Thanks for the recipe.

  4. Thanks Sandy. I have been making noodle pillows with all kinds of noodles for decades. We old chef’s always knew that there is very little “new” food out there, just different combinations and presentations 🙂
